“Houston, we have a problem…”
Pitiful! Like striking out the first time at bat in little league. Sorry to all of you who commented on TeleDan’s inaugural post. I was very excited to read every comment, ready to respond back and… SMACK, BOOM, BANG! Nothing. So stay tuned until I work the novice bugs out of my noviceness. I will be posting later today about NewSong’s worship for the past two weeks. Stay tuned and patient! TD out. (Save me, Mud Puppy!) – TeleDan

Dude with the help of The Original Mudpuppy, you’ll be rockin in no time! I’m excited about your blog here. Your first post with the ‘candid interview’ was great! You’re off to a great start!
And love the name!! I’m already curious though, as a gear head, as to what you run your beloved Tele through? A Fender amp as well? Oo if so, what kind? Oo is he another gear head as well? Oo I wonder what his pedal board looks like? Oo could he care less about answering all these questions? Oo maybe, he already mentioned Starbucks and brownies and has to release all that caffeine somehow!
Hahaha welcome to the blogosphere man!

As always, I’m a day late and usually several dollars short. But no matter, I finally found you. Well, okay, MP pointed me here. Looking forward to more blogging from the Teledan!!

Worshipcity – Awesome name, by the way. I’m curious as to the genesis of your name. I’m probably not the gear head you are from the sounds of it. I am actually a converted lead guitarist from a hard core past of rhythm acoustic in the country scene. God is so amazing. I never dreamed he would use me as a lead guitarist in a worship band! I run my tele through an older Peavey Bandit powered by the Boss GT-8 processor. Just picked up that system about two weeks ago so I’m still learning the ropes with it. But so far, wow! I also play a Takamine electric acoustic (FP391 DN with parametric equalization) when serving as the lead worshipper. Enough about me. Tell me about your gear… – TeleDan

I’d probably go on too long here talking gear. Check out my gear page on my blog for an in depth look at it. The nuts and bolts: Lbenito Grand Auditorium Acoustic Guitar with and Avalon U5. My backup is a Tak! I need to check the model, I don’t know off hand. Electric is this modded Fender Strat that I use from my lead guitarists through a Blues Jr.
The genesis of Worship City sounds like the topic of an excellent post! Maybe in the near future!

This is quite a up-to-date info. I’ll share it on Delicious.
